SUB-ACUTE REHABILITATION
Our state of the art sub-acute unit was completed in July 2006; it was designed to emanate a warm, caring, homelike atmosphere with experienced, professional, compassionate, IV certified staff members.
The sub-acute unit provides the ultimate in sub acute care, with advanced
pain management, wound care and therapy by KESSLER:
Physical
therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy.
Rehabilitation could be needed for the following conditions:
- Fractures
- Hip and knee surgery
- Stroke
- Cardiac conditions and surgery, including CABG and Valve replacment
- Medical disorders that have caused weakness and deconditioning
- Trauma

The focus of rehabilitation is to establish realistic, attainable goals
that can result in significant improvement in one's ability to function
and in one's quality of life. The rehabilitation program is individualized
to best meet your needs and is directed by a physiatrist, a medical doctor
specializing in physical medicine.
